Use suitable containers for each mode, follow food instructions and release steam carefully. Do not heat sealed containers. Metal accessories are permitted only in modes expressly allowed by the manual. Stop using an oven with sparks or door damage.
Keep the product manual and model reference where you can find them. Different programmes, accessories and maintenance procedures apply to different models, even within the same brand. Follow the instructions supplied with your appliance.
Clean food splashes after the cavity cools, following the manual. Keep vents clear, avoid running the oven empty and use the correct accessories for each mode. Do not use abrasive tools on door seals or cavity coating.
Before routine cleaning, stop the appliance and follow its isolation and cooling instructions. Do not remove fixed protective panels. If a task is not described as user maintenance in the manual, arrange professional help.

Stop the oven. Metallic items, damaged coating or waveguide-cover problems may cause arcing. Do not keep running it to see whether sparks stop.
Door alignment, interlock switches and controls may need attention. Never bypass an interlock or operate a microwave with a damaged door.
The coupling, turntable motor, fan or heater may be involved. Describe which cooking modes work and which fail.
A safe inspection considers the door, cavity, controls and symptoms before internal components. High-voltage work requires a trained technician. Cavity or door damage can affect viability. After relevant repairs, appropriate safety and operating checks are important; ask what testing is included.
